Reference and Adult Services Librarian, Anne Morris
Anne Morris works in the Reference Office and her door is always open! Ms. Morris is happy to assist with reference and computer questions, proctoring exams, and also interlibrary loans. She handles anywhere from 600 – 800 reference questions per month, and especially enjoys helping high school and college students with research. Walk-in reference questions are welcome!
Ms. Morris has completed several advanced degrees including her Masters in Library and Information Science. She not only handles reference and interlibrary loans, she also facilitates two monthly book clubs: the Jubilee Book Club and the Mystery Book Club. Anne visits Catherine Place monthly to facilitate an outreach book club there. Anne is the library contact for most memorials and donations, is in charge of the annual Christmas Gift Tree program, and does collection development for the fiction, mystery, large print, and reference areas. In addition, Ms. Morris one of our four computer instructors, teaching Introduction to Word, Advanced Word, and other classes. Anne is a great instructor, patient, humorous and enlightening to her students.
